Update
data efficiently
Using simple examples, we would like to demonstrate the potential of saving money while implementing dbAvail. We would like to present concrete indications to you, how the use of dbAvail can pay off.
In this example, the added value of higher data quality is not taken into account. We refer only to direct savings.
Saving examples
Example 1 dbAvail
Assuming 10,000 addresses at 2 locations with an average change of 20%/year. This results in an annual updating effort (8 min. incl. research and communication) of 533 hours (€8,000). Assuming that 25% of the data overlaps, updating it separately results in additional costs of € 2.000,- per year.
Example 2 dbAvail
Assuming 10.000 addresses at 2 locations with 3 work areas and an average change of 20% a year. This results in an annual updating effort of 1.600 hours (€ 24.000). Assuming that 25% of the data overlaps, updating it separately results in additional costs of € 6.000 – € 10.000,- per year.
Example 3 dbAvail
Example 2, calculatet with 3 locations results in savings of € 9.000 – 15.000,- per year.
The potential of saving increases with every addional location.
Assumptions for the calculation examples
In the calculation, we assume the dbAvail basic solution (investment of max. € 16.000,- and maintanance cost of € 1.000,- per year). dbAvail is not meant to reduce staff, but increase the competitiveness of SMEs through higher efficency.
The immediate savings to be achieved by eliminating duplicate or multiple work processes are not possible to be calculated, but provide a huge saving potential as well.
